Dal Fry Tadka In Punjabi Style Easy Recipe

Necessary Ingredients

1 1/2 cups tur dal
1/2 cup chickpea lentils
1 large finely chopped onion
2 medium finely chopped tomatoes
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
2-3 finely chopped green chilies
1 tsp garam masala
2 whole red chillies
1 tablespoon coriander (finely chopped)
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp cumin seeds
A pinch of asafoetida
1 tsp dry mango powder
Salt as per taste
Ghee consistent with need
Water as needed

Wash the lentils once with water.
Put lentils, turmeric, salt and water within the cooker and shut the lid and keep it on the flame.
Keep the flame on high until the primary whistle. After this, after heating medium, we’ll put 4-5 whistles.
After 5 whistles, close up the warmth and let the pressure of the cooker end.
As long because the pressure of the cooker is exhausted, steel oneself against the tempering.
For this, put ghee within the pan and keep it on medium flame for heating. Will save 1 teaspoon of ghee.
When ghee gets hot, add asafetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and green chillies and fry it well.

After roasting onion, add tomatoes, red chillies, coriander powder, turmeric, mango powder, garam masala and blend well.
To roast the spices, add 1/2 small cup of water and fry it for 4-5 minutes while stirring.
After 5 minutes, the dal tempering are going to be ready.
Put the prepared tempering on the dal and blend it well.
If the lentils are thick, add a touch water and blend it and put the cooker on the flame and convey it to a boil.
After boiling, add coriander leaves and blend them.
Put the tempering on the dal by turning off the warmth .
For this, put ghee during a tempering pan or a traditional pan and warmth it.
When the ghee gets hot, close up the warmth and add red chilli and Kashmiri red chili.
we’ll put this tempering on the lentils.
Punjabi Style Dal Fry is prepared . Garnish with green coriander and ginger sticks and serve.
